The article mainly focusses on flexible development paths for small and medium enterprises, with particular attention to the travel sector and in particular to travel agencies. The topic is dealt both from a theoretical perspective, analyzing the main configurations in the process of selling and distributing tourism products and from a practical perspective, studying different forms of networks and partnerships carried out by a sample of Italian firms.
