In the paper the analytical set up of a control algorithm for compensation devices is presented, which is useful in cases when systems devoted to control structural vibrations caused by seismic actions fail their role. This circumstance may occur quite often in passive dynamic control of constructions and does require a fundamental mathematical design stage of the law underlying the operation of the control system for adjusting and making it effective and reliable.

Abstract
