The paper focuses on the non-linearity problem relevant to the static analysis of pin-jointed structures undergone by large displacements, where the problem of search of the balanced configuration is strictly related to the change of configuration itself. A analytical procedure based on the development of a matrix method is presented, starting from the single element up to re-assemblage into the overall structure set through final non-linear relationships.
