After the first public presentation in 2021, this paper will deal with the research project Forma Urbis Neapolis. Genesi e struttura della Città Antica, in progress by CIRICE Research Center of the University of Naples Federico II. The project is aimed at drawing a digital map of the Ancient Naples, starting from the recent experiences by the Center scholars in the field of urban historical analysis by means of the GIS technology and of the construction of an archeological, documentary and cartographic database.
