Collezionismo numismatico in Campania e le Società di Storia Patria tra fine Ottocento e inizio Novecento

This paper focuses on some aspects of the numismatic antiquarian collections formed at Naples and in Campania and linked to the history of the local Società di Storia Patria, with references to the methodological aspects of a new historical and archaeological approach to the study of the ancient coins developed between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
