Over the centuries, water, one of the most valuable natural resources, has been the catalyst for the challenges to be faced and the opportunities to be sustained in order to enhance, manage and protect the multiple components of the earth’s physical system, i.e. the human environment. This is especially true when considering the strategic role played by the immense natural heritage of thermal and mineral waters in improving the quality of life, and preserving the natural environment for future generations.
