It has been more than five years since the Master of Science in Design for the Built Environment was activated, a milestone that provides an opportunity for us to give a general assessment of the programme so far. There are 24 existing Master of Science in Design courses in Italy. These are mostly to be found in central and northern regions.What is more, in view of the increasing contribution that our university is giving to research and development in design industry, this consideration seems all the more important. In recent years, DiARC itself has developed a broad range of educational programmes on the subject of design. Initially, a bachelor’s degree in DBE was offered in English.
