Abstract
Premise for the A.M.A.R.E. is based on the idea that the observation of spatial effects of migrations is useful to gain new points of view for detecting the genetic code of silent mutations that slowly but surely affect the balance of the relationships between anthropic settlements, uses and geographical ambitions. An oriented systematization of data relating to migrations, combined with a greater awareness of the spaces involved and the emerging needs of the different communities can contribute to an atypical narration of contemporary landscapes able, as a collective tale, to prefigure reliable scenarios and build shared projects. On the basis of this hypothesis, the Atlas understood as a systematic collection of maps for study and consultation, represents the ambition and metonymy of the research itself which highlights the need to fill a gap in the context of narrative devices currently available. Describing to understand, understanding to design: the search for an A.M.A.R.E. responds to the need to overcome the consolidated descriptive models which, like the geographical maps present in the elementary school supplies, continue to persist in the collective memory, unable to grasp contemporary phenomena which therefore almost automatically are eclipsed by public attention. The point of view of Migrations, proposed by the A.M.A.R.E. in the double reverberation of crossings and rootings it can outline landscapes never seen before, also operating through the gaze of the other (Morelli 2017) that uprooting of our perceptive habits, an indispensable premise for new roots (Chambers 2017).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
