Antitrinitarsmo e triadicità in Giordano Bruno. Il ricorso alla triade substantia-essentia, potentia, actus nel De la causa, principio et uno

The problem of the triadic configuration of being or substance, as well as the relationship between the three conceptual terms substantia/essentia - potentia/virtus - actus/operatio, emerges in Giordano Bruno's thought since the origins of his biographical and intellectual experience. In this contribution we will try to follow its development through two complementary perspectives: 1) the biographical perspective, linked to the years of his education and to the maturation of a specific theological-philosophical reflection; 2) the internal perspective of his thought, through the examination of the problem from an ontological point of view as outlined in De la causa, principio et Uno, published in London in 1584.
