This paper aims to offer a critical analysis with respect to cultural heritage dematerialization, with specific reference to the opportunities and risks emerging from the perspectives of carrying out the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The broader process of digital transformation of cultural institutions must stand as a collective and shared project as it centers on the awareness of the individual: a knowledge-based transformation. Hence, training, aimed at all players in the culture ecosystem, both to incenviate the learning of new skills and to strengthen and enhance existing ones, thus supporting the evolution of the entire sector and the emergence of new services.
