Looking at the connections between these elements as different technologies that are backed by the law, I explore how urban/digital objects as CCTV cameras, interactive screens in railway stations, digital apps, etc they all contribute to create an urban environment that is increasingly privatized and hostile, explicitly for certain categories and often in an unnoticed way for others. The paper is theoretical and interdisciplinary in its approach but hopefully being able to offer concrete examples of (hostile) regulation in the city between the digital and the physical.

Abstract
Looking at the connections between these elements as different technologies that are backed by the law, I explore how urban/digital objects as CCTV cameras, interactive screens in railway stations, digital apps, etc they all contribute to create an urban environment that is increasingly privatized and hostile, explicitly for certain categories and often in an unnoticed way for others. The paper is theoretical and interdisciplinary in its approach but hopefully being able to offer concrete examples of (hostile) regulation in the city between the digital and the physical.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
