In this study we propose a brief analysis of recent soft wearable robots for upper–limb which could have a major impact on future developments and applications. The systems are analysed with respect to: design concepts, actuation systems, sensing systems, control strategies and applications. Finally, a discussion and open issues are presented.

Abstract

In this study we propose a brief analysis of recent soft wearable robots for upper–limb which could have a major impact on future developments and applications. The systems are analysed with respect to: design concepts, actuation systems, sensing systems, control strategies and applications. Finally, a discussion and open issues are presented.
