The fiumaras landscapes: a project for the community of the Metropolis of the Strait

In Calabria it is being considered a face of definition and application of new instruments of territory management: under the City Hall responsibility (PSC Piano Strutturale Comunale di Reggio), under provincial and regional responsibility (PTCP Piano Territoriale di Coordinamento Provinciale e QTR Quadro Territoriale Regionale). Through POR 2007-2013 (Operative Regional Programmes) are being considered other important funs on structural works with privilege themes linked to the evaluation of the resources of the environmental and landscape; in these activities the regeneration of the fiumaras landscape can so represent a winning strategy to define a ecological connection between the seaside and the mountains, equipped with parks, gardens, walk-ways, a new system of public spaces for the community of inhabitants of the future Metropolis of the Straight.
