By investigating a sample of Amstat News issues, the American Statistical Association’s monthly magazine, the linguistic analysis has foregrounded the persuasive strategies employed by the organisation to promote the practice and profession of statistics by eradicating some misconstructions about statistics and prioritizing work-life balance and well-being.
