Emergent synthesis concepts for tool management in a supply network, based on a hybrid neuro-fuzzy-genetic system for tool delivery forecasting, are presented. The developed methodology is a contribution to the implementation of a Multi-Agent Tool Management System (MATMS) for automatic procurement of CBN grinding wheels for nickel base alloy turbine blade fabrication, in the frame of a multiple-supplier network.
