Resilienza, Sostenibilità, Equità. Le risposte alla pandemia?

The paper deals with the current social, economic and political crisis, generated by the coronavirus (Covid-19), through the lens of the resilience thinking. The paper distinguishes between three categories of disturbances: characteristic, large infrequent and unknown shocks, highlighting that, although in different ways, they all trigger social reactions that in many cases produce positive effects. Through case studies, the paper shows how traumatic events, with different timeline, have led to the rediscovery and recovery cultural heritage by communities, the realization of the socalled Heritage Communities, the reduction of vulnerability components and the Community Resilience. On the basis of scientific literature, and referring to the recent debate in the field of architecture on the current pandemic, the paper highlights the complex and flourishing relationship between resilience and sustainability and the positions that make the latter indispensable objectives, from which to generate visions for a future, that is above all fair.
