Dagli archivi in rete al museo diffuso dell’ingegneria: il fondo del Genio Civile di Verona e la sua valorizzazione

The twentieth century engineering archives conservation and protection necessarily run through their knowledge and sharing of their cultural value. The ARCOVER project aims to collect archive documentation in a single digital database to connect the various public and private archives of Verona to each other, in order to facilitate consultation and dissemination. This work is the starting point for the project of cultural itineraries dedicated to twentieth-century engineering. The aim is the com- munication and valorization of a heritage, documentary but also urban, of a century – the twentieth – which is not always recognized, and which risks a material and cultural dispersion and destruction.
