The study carried out lately by an international research team, composed by Italian, Greek, Romanian and British expert, was aimed at creating a soft methodology for designing very simple healthcare facilities, which will enhance the sustainable character of the choices and focus on the social rather than on the therapy actions run within these peculiar spaces. Therefore this chapter’s specific goal is that of defining the importance of the bioclimatic and bioregionalist approach within the healthcare social structures within an urban district. After an introduction about the various expertise who nowadays can design healthy structures, from different points of view, the new frontiers of architecture for small facilities are investigated and some innovative solutions are proposed, in particular in terms of comfort and wellbeing for patients, workers and visitors. A case study illustrates then how the non-sealed constructions can actually prevent some additional disease due to fully artificially conditioned buildings. Finally some bonds with city conditions generated by these special small care facilities are outlined.

Abstract
Finally some bonds with city conditions generated by these special small care facilities are outlined.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
