An on-line survey has been submitted to 291 Egyptian bank employees and a structural equation model has been performed to test our hypotheses. The results show a positive relationship between CSR and financial and non-financial bank performance, that is reinforced by the mediating effect of employees’ orientation and satisfaction. The findings confirm that adopting CSR-oriented routines and supporting organisational well-being are both valid approaches to improve the impact of CSR efforts.
