Abstract
The introduction to the book, contained in this text, has the aim of focusing on the emerging idea that it is now of vital importance to consider the vegetation as a part of our existence, a part which should govern also the design and programme choices, mainly in the big metropolitan areas. The research is illustrated, which has provided a number of results due to the various viewpoints the number of experts gave to the question of the new alliance between man and nature. The role Greenery plays within the technological design is outlined and carried out according to the bioclimatic as well as bioregionalist lens: so proposing a new approach aimed both at searching a deeper bond between the a-biotic built sphere and that of the biotic greenery, and at taking into account the role of the project. Once comprehended the present or absent dynamics between the two spheres, once applied a global knowledge of the vegetable processes and of how they interact with the world built by man, it seems possible to create a substratum of rules to apply time by time upon the different cases which are set at the designers’ attention, when the role of greenery were considered essential, and if, and only if, the latest is retained integral part of the project since the beginning.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
