The regime of “cold catastrophe” (Camorrino, 2014 e 2015) – this is my thesis - typical of contemporary society seems to transfigure the predictions of science especially in the ways in which these predictions are perceived in the imagery of common sense - for example on issues related to climate change: the projection in the future of the fears and hopes of men through imaginary anticipations, causes a significant weakening of the boundaries that separate the scientific narration of reality from the one closest to the domain of fiction (Beck, 2011). Just as in the days of the Cold War, the tensions that characterized the relations between the opposing blocks, caused a production of knowledge rich in elements of fantasy (Elias, 1988), so it happens today in relation to the predictions on possible future catastrophes. Exactly a regime of “cold catastrophe”.

Abstract
Exactly a regime of “cold catastrophe”.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
