In this paper such issue is tackled focusing the analysis on the biographical production of Tristano Caracciolo as a unitary corpus highly oriented by the historical and ideological contexts, in which each profile was thought and written. This vision takes also into account certain dynamics of Gattungsmischung and looks particularly at the connections with ethical works of Caracciolo.
