The theme of the research discusses about the actual debate for the urban transformations induced by migration processes that have involved Italy since the early 70's, that are taking, in recent years, a character of increasing stabilization. In this debate, the discipline of Building and Urban Recovery is called today to offer a contribution to implement a renewal of the city that is the result of '"meeting between identity and recognition of places extended to new cultures” (Beguinot, 2011). At this aim, it is necessary to redefine the tools of the discipline for the demands made by new users of the city, which have enriched the term "user", for which discipline is born and develops, of new values and new meanings. In particular, studies of projects developed in many Italian cities targeted on activation of services, policies of integration and coordination among multiple actors and multiple needs, have shown that it is still far from considering society "mixed." In fact, these projects are not only fragmented and little transversal, but also specific for foreigners and never faces all the citizens (Martiniello et al., 2004). In accordance with the objectives of the Culture Programme of the European Union, the research emphasizes the value of differences between immigrant groups as driving force for sustainable urban regeneration. The objective of this research was to identify innovative ways to support the management of urban change produced by immigration on physical, social and economic systems, considering cities as a system capable of adapting to changes induced by exogenous or endogenous processes, or by a natural evolution of society and the environment or from shocks and unexpected events.
