The number of Aristides quotations in the Ecloga vocum Atticarum by Thomas Magister (14. century) overcomes that of other orators as Demosthenes, Aeschines and Isocrates. These quotations are very useful to study the language and the indirect tradition of the ancient greek rhetorician in the byzantine lexicography.
