The dynamical study of a model of underactuated finger moved by tendons is presented; the study was inspired from the prototyping of a 15 d.o.f. underactuated mechanical hand, based on tendons, the main application of which can be an human prosthesis. The model will permit an optimum design of the finger, mostly as far as the tendon distances from each of the phalanx hinges is concerned.

Abstract
The dynamical study of a model of underactuated finger moved by tendons is presented; the study was inspired from the prototyping of a 15 d.o.f. underactuated mechanical hand, based on tendons, the main application of which can be an human prosthesis. The model will permit an optimum design of the finger, mostly as far as the tendon distances from each of the phalanx hinges is concerned.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
