Abstract
Issues involved in experimentation on the human body lead us to deal with the genealogy of the concepts and representations depicted in the Modern Age in order to define the relationship between personal identity and corporeal existence. This paper will focus on how, following this itinerary, we can find two different interpretations for the relationship between personhood and body: the first, based on the idea that body belongs to the Self, in the perspective of an autonomous Self-determination; the other, placed on human dignity.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
