Four new triterpenoids together with six known compounds were isolated from the aerial parts of Oenothera maritima Nutt. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data and chemical methods. Compounds 1, 3–10 were evaluated for their in vitro thrombin inhibitory activity and their selectivity against factor Xa and trypsin.
