The innovative strategy of Youth Policies in Campania: evidence from an evaluation research

The paper presents the main findings of a social research of the Permanent Observatory on Youth sponsored by the Campania Region. The paper focuses on the process building of Local Plan of Youth Policy (Piani Territoriali di Politiche Giovanili, PTG). PTG are a new social planning tools to encourage local policy makers to project actions in favor of and in collaboration with young people and all public and private social actors in the local contexts, in order to enhance young citizenship and participation in decision making through. We want to understand how local authorities respond to the challenges posed by regional local authorities in Youth Policies to suggest improvements of program planning as well as to promote empowerment of all actors involved in the field.
