The paper intends to interrelate the regimes of weapons of mass destruction (WMD). In particular, it regards the connections between nuclear arms and chemical arms, through the analysis of the verification regimes established by IAEA (international Atomic Energy Agency ), CTBTO (PrepComm-Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty) , OPCW (Organization for Prohibition Chemical Weapons) and highlights the potential synergies between them. The purpose is to verify if these synergies are able to strengthen the IAEA control on nuclear activities of States.
