Going through the history of studies of accentuation in Latin papyri means thinking about ‘labels’ used to identify specific graphical phenomena. The research concerning Artes grammaticae is the necessary condition to bring into question, on one side, words like apex or sicilicus and, on the other one, the possibility to use signs simply for rhythmical spellings of texts (as well as has been thought about the so-called De bellis Macedonicis of P. Oxy. I 30). The value of graphical accentuation’s signs is here reviewed in parallel with the prescriptions by Late Antiquity’s grammatici, paying special attention to the P. Ness. II 1 and 2 which contain hexameters from the Aeneis and drive us to a deeper reflection about the lectio in bilingual contexts.

Abstract
Ness. II 1 and 2 which contain hexameters from the Aeneis and drive us to a deeper reflection about the lectio in bilingual contexts.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
