The study of medical protocols for monitoring and analyzing the cognitive development of children with disabilities is a fundamental research area. A well established curriculum- based assessment is the Carolina Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers with Special Needs(CCITSN). Critically, CCITSN does not allow to share and to exchange the experiences be- tween all actors enrolled in a long time Curriculum program; we address this problem by extending the Carolina software (see [4]) by means of an highly innovative communication social networking framework, ad-hoc built-in.

Abstract

The study of medical protocols for monitoring and analyzing the cognitive development of children with disabilities is a fundamental research area. A well established curriculum- based assessment is the Carolina Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers with Special Needs(CCITSN). Critically, CCITSN does not allow to share and to exchange the experiences be- tween all actors enrolled in a long time Curriculum program; we address this problem by extending the Carolina software (see [4]) by means of an highly innovative communication social networking framework, ad-hoc built-in.
