The implementation of new technologies in the textile sector and the possible revision of the recycling chain

Today are designed and realized, more and more often multifunctional products for which must coexist performance even conflicting each other, such as impermeability to water and air permeability, as well as the strong resistance combined with the softness. Functional fashion is now a term that has also involved the fashion industry with its technical applications. Many textile companies have supported the production of basic ecological lines whose market demand is increasing because of increased consumer awareness, not only attentive to their health and the environment but also saving energy. As part of any recovery or recycling of these new materials, the authors pose the question of how should readjust the chain of recycling.
