This paper shows the preliminary results of a study about the correlation aspects among the parametric maps of SINTACS system. More SINTACS applications have been considered as test-sites on coastal belts Italian Peninsula. Modifications to the available standard were experimented leading to new protocols more appropriate for the surveyed areas. Pearson correlation coefficient  is used as an analysis tool to validate consistency of SINTACS parameters for the studied areas. A Matlab® routine has processed all the possible combinations of couples of non-weighted matrixes, recognizing similarity and/or singularity grades. Aim is to propose the elimination of parameters affected by redundancy in vulnerability assessment.
