This Research-Intervention is part of the models of Health Psychology for the promotion of well-being that sustain the identity of a working role in professional training (Bertini et al., 2006; Le Boterf, 2000; Zucchermaglio, Alby, 2006). Aim of this work is the exploration of the competence of use construct, conceptualized as the ability to use training for building a professional role, to understand if this construct can be used as an interpretative criterion of trainees (N=75) different modalities of partecipation to training contexts. The construct has been analyzed in three dimensions: representability of training contents, utility of the process resources, usability of the training at work; the indicators were studied through open answer questionnaire created ad hoc. The ACM highlighted different typologies of use: Opaque Use, Learning Use, Development Use. The results can be useful to design intervention for the promotion of well-being in trainees by promoting the competence of use.
