The present project, in collaboration with the University of Siena and the university of Firenze is aimed at obtaining new laccases and at their characterization, through elucidation of the structure-function relationships, in order to identify structural determinants of enzymatic activity, of substrate specificity and of stability in a variegated group of fungal laccases.
