“Understanding the role of narrative in depicting meaning and in intervention”

This paper is a contribution to the discussion on depicting sensemaking, such contribution will take narration as the analysis unit and will move along two axis: a) on the first axis narration is considered a structure of signs; b) on the second axis narration is discussed as intervention instrument, and the field will be differentiated in models that adopt the narration construct as definition of the intervention text, as a narrative reading of key moments of the clinical relation, or as a intervention device orientated to produce narrative resources of sense
