The project deals with the analysis, design and preliminary evaluation of metrology concepts to determine the pose of a target satellite from a chaser one in close operations (i.e. monitoring, fly around, rendezvous, etc..). Two concepts are evaluated relying on vision-based and carrier-based differential GPS technologies and techniques.
