Abstract
A review of the major contributions yielded in the last decade on the behaviour of plane liquid sheet flows (2D plane jets), issuing under the effect of the surface tension in the gravitational field, is carried out. Starting from experimental observations, both local and global theoretical methodologies of analysis are discussed in order to predict the conditions of sheet instability leading to break up.File in questo prodotto:
