Label-free holographic microscopy is a non-invasive imaging approach providing high-resolution images of biological samples without the use of staining or labeling. It uses light interference to measure phase shifts arising from changes in cell structure and density with minimal sample preparation to obtain quantitative morphological analysis of cells and dynamic processes. The current study proposes a proof-of-concept for a diagnostic method to identify different hereditary anaemias based on the combination of single-cell imaging by digital holographic microscope and Artificial Intelligence.

Abstract
Label-free holographic microscopy is a non-invasive imaging approach providing high-resolution images of biological samples without the use of staining or labeling. It uses light interference to measure phase shifts arising from changes in cell structure and density with minimal sample preparation to obtain quantitative morphological analysis of cells and dynamic processes. The current study proposes a proof-of-concept for a diagnostic method to identify different hereditary anaemias based on the combination of single-cell imaging by digital holographic microscope and Artificial Intelligence.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
