“UNA CITTA’, LE SUE DONNE: UN PODCAST-VIDEO PER NAPOLI A CITY, ITS WOMEN: A PODCAST-VIDEO FOR NAPLES"

Il passato di una città assomiglia alle linee della mano (come diceva Italo Calvino nelle sue Città invisibili), da cui trapela una storia che solo occhi esperti possono dipanare: così appare anche la sua memoria femminile, spesso trascurata nei nomi delle strade, le cui tracce, tuttavia, permangono nei monumenti in attesa di essere rivelate. Il progetto “Napoli: la città, le donne” (2022; 2023) comprende un podcast-video in 15 clip, che mettono in luce figure di donne di ogni epoca e ambito, collegando i loro nomi a luoghi significativi per la stessa storia di Napoli e celebrandone il contributo. It happens that very often a city does not reveal its past, as if they were the lines of a hand. These words, inspired to Italo Calvino, and his “Invisible Cities”, are suitable to women’s history of a city: almost completely absent in its streets' names, they re-emerge though from its monuments. The project "Naples: the city, the women" (2022; 2023) includes a podcast-video in 15 clips, which highlight women from every era and sector, linking their names to significant places for the history itself of Naples and celebrating their contribution.
