Nowadays, without a doubt, artificial intelligence (AI) is a disruptive technology used and promoted by Smart cities and Smart Tourism Destinations (STDs), in order to develop new business models, marketing services as well as experiences, revenues, productivity and all efficiency processes related to tourism. However, it is necessary to establish that the adoption of AI applications and platforms, in the tourism sector, requires a high economic budget for STDs that want to integrate this digital tool into their future agenda and tourism development plans, especially when they set them up for marketing plans and operational processes. This analysis, with the help of data from government sources, articles and essays, will provide an explanatory-discursive study methodology, with the precise aim, through the case study method, of creating a comprehensive understanding of the development of the literature on smart destinations and, therefore, may serve as a basis for further generation of knowledge in this area of study. The analysis will highlight how the disruptive force of digital technologies is shaping and digitizing the city of Seoul, making it a highly attractive tourist destination.

Abstract
The analysis will highlight how the disruptive force of digital technologies is shaping and digitizing the city of Seoul, making it a highly attractive tourist destination.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
