Architectural pedagogy is shaped by longstanding traditions, yet many teaching methods struggle to adapt to contemporary challenges. The design studio remains a crucial space for experimentation, but its rigid structures often resist change. This contribution examines how studio teaching can evolve by rethinking its actions, tools, and interpretive frameworks. Emphasizing iterative learning, interdisciplinary exchange, and critical reflection, it argues for a pedagogy that responds to today’s crises while maintaining architecture’s core principles. Only through adaptive, student-centered approaches can the studio remain relevant in a rapidly changing world.
