In his report, Giumetti proposes to investigate the origin of the crime of sexual violence as it is codified today in Italy and in Europe, starting from the figure of stuprum cum vim, which in our speaker's opinion is the result of a hermeneutic activity of the classical age on the crimen of consensual stuprum. Secondly, Giumetti will highlight the persistence of ancient stereotypes in Italian jurisprudence of not many years ago, in particular the use of the principle of vis grata puellis.
