Sraffa After Graziani

Proposed here is a scheme of a monetary theory of capitalist production in which the interpretation of the Sraffian system suggested by Augusto Graziani can be conceived not as an alternative but as a possible complement to the traditional analyses of Sraffa's work. Graziani's interpretation insists on the problem of capitalist command over production and seems to suggest a view of Sraffa rather skeptical of policies that avoid any type of public planning of production.
