Social change is attended in this paper trying to integrate the phenome- nological approach, with contributions deriving from the most recent re- search emerging in different fields such as neuroscience, neo-evolutionism and narratology. Neuroscience is currently able to identify with increasing accuracy the neural correlates of human emotions (i.e. the possibility of explaining in scientific terms the human predispositions to look for exi- stential meaning and the need to control the future); on the other hand, we humans are characterized by a series of peculiar qualities, such as the innate predisposition to process and recognize regular patterns of events and the extraordinary ability to tell stories to give meaning and order to change and the future. Building a dialogue between these different fields, can open up unexplored and original research paths aimed to understan- ding the human social change.

Abstract
Building a dialogue between these different fields, can open up unexplored and original research paths aimed to understan- ding the human social change.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
