Rancière's reflection on ethical images is more precisely an investigation into a modality of artistic making that responds to the police logic of a social pedagogy. This police logic becomes the vehicle of an imagerie that orients individuals and the community, towards values and lifestyles with the aim to build a saturated ethical community.
