The paper aims to deal with the urban historical analysis, performed with the use of georeferenced digital cartography, in relation to CIRICE research projects on the city of Naples. The study will describe the basic methodologies for a correct reconstruction of the “memoria formae urbis” and for the best preservation and enhancement of the historic city.
