Sociologia dell'immaginario tecnomagico

A theme destined to become central in the international sociological debate concerns the current transformation of technique into a techno-magic paradigm characterizing the contemporary medialandscape. An attempt will be made to address a “comprehensive” look at the dynamics and effects resulting from the cybernetisation of the joint centers that structure the human being: body, thought and speech. It will reflect on how the digital virtualisation process has weakened the Weltanschauung formed starting from the Renaissance, dethroning the protagonist of the model of classical Western epistemology, the rational subiectum that explains the whole world. It will use a historiographical-sociological method, through a critical recognition of the positions taken by analysts of the scenario that has progressively emerged. It will be observed how some authors have identified magical horizons and religious dimensions, capable of reawakening idols that animate a new community sense and are celebrated through new rituals.
