Abstract
The treatment of the architectural surfaces of historic buildings – it is known – represents one of the most delicate aspects of the restoration site of the built heritage. The architectural surface, decorated or not, once the work is completed, is one of the clearest visual indicators of a well-done and respectful restoration of the property. The paper presents the interventions conducted, within the framework of Law n.160 and the Bonus regime, on a Roman villa located in via Savoia in the Salario district (Municipality II), along the external perimeter of Villa Albani: this area of Rome, because of its modern character, has been affected by transformations and abuses, against which Paul Philippot, already in the eighties of the 20th century, had taken a clear position in reference precisely to interventions that did not respect surfaces and color of the original plasters.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
