The work has a double objective. On the one hand it aims to shed light on one of the institutional bodies created by fascism, the High Commissariat for the city and the province of Naples. On the other hand, it aims to deepen, from this point of view, the fascist strategy of gaining consensus in such a context as the Neapolitan one. The High Commissariat was established in 1925 and ceased to exist in 1936. It was a hybrid body, partly technical and partly political, which, thanks to its powers in the field of public works, succeeded to gain consent for the regime in exchange for the most impressive modification of the Neapolitan 20th century urban structure.

Abstract
The work has a double objective. On the one hand it aims to shed light on one of the institutional bodies created by fascism, the High Commissariat for the city and the province of Naples. On the other hand, it aims to deepen, from this point of view, the fascist strategy of gaining consensus in such a context as the Neapolitan one. The High Commissariat was established in 1925 and ceased to exist in 1936. It was a hybrid body, partly technical and partly political, which, thanks to its powers in the field of public works, succeeded to gain consent for the regime in exchange for the most impressive modification of the Neapolitan 20th century urban structure.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
